- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in payroll coordination, tax compliance, and multi-cycle payroll processing.
- Proven experience in HR program management, onboarding, and policy administration.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while supporting multi-location or hybrid teams.
Skills Required
- Strong technical expertise in payroll processing, HRIS systems (ADP, UKG, etc.), and compliance best practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with attention to accuracy, data integrity and reporting.
- In-depth understanding of HR laws, policies, and employee relations management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fostering trust and engagement across teams.
HR & Payroll Assistant
Key Responsibilities

Process accurate and timely payroll for multiple pay cycles using ADP and other payroll systems.

Review and verify employee timecards, deductions, and adjustments prior to each payroll run.

Maintain up-to-date payroll records for new hires, terminations, and compensation changes

Partner with HR and Accounting to ensure compliance with tax laws, benefits deductions, and reporting requirements.

Administer core HR programs including benefits, leaves, and employee recognition initiatives.

Support recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth employee experience

Maintain and audit HR data in ADP/HRIS to ensure accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality

Provide guidance on HR policies and assist in employee relations and performance management activities.

Assist in preparing payroll summaries and compliance reports while supporting audits and ensuring data accuracy across HR systems.
